  • Minimum 2 years of college; 2-4 years of experience working in a small to midsize business


  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • English/Spanish speaking/writing skills
  • Excellent phone manner
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Intermediate to advance computer skills including Word, Excel and Adobe PDF
  • Answer phones
  • Customer and interpersonal skills
  • Constant contact
  • 2-4 years of experience working in a small to midsize business
  • Prep meeting agendas, minutes, generate and post reports


  • Maintains employee HR files
  • Manage company job postings

  • Greet all prospective employee candidates

  • Manage employee application process and paperwork

  • Screen applicants with phone interview

  • Schedule interviews with managers

  • Run background checks and screen driver’s licenses

  • Prepare employee offers

  • Manage onboarding and orientation process & paperwork

  • Manage employee exit process

  • Manage employee benefits when applicable

  • First point of contact for Company policy and benefit explanation 

  • HR questions as well as work grievances

  • Maintain recruiting web postings

  • Responsible for preparing and distributing newsletters

  • Speak to customers and generate correspondences and emails

  • Update Marketing calendar

  • Administrator to company’s Facebook

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor(s)
